As Sleepbo’s token young person Research Assistant Intern, I was tasked with researching the best gifts for Millennials and Zoomers and giving my honest opinions on them.
So, while researching products to review, being the professional that I am, I went on TikTok to see what was trending.
One thing I kept seeing everywhere were these super comfy-looking cushioned slides. And it wasn’t just TikTok, celebrities were wearing them too, Kendall Jenner, Hailey Beiber. I just knew they would be a top trending Christmas gift for 2021, so of course, I had to try them for myself.
Because of their viral popularity these past few months, it’s pretty difficult to get your hands on a pair. They were sold out at a lot of the places I was comparing, including my favourite home comfort brand, kuddly.
Luckily, as a Sleepbo Research Assistant, I am subscribed to kuddly’s mailing list and I got notified that they were restocking for their massive Holiday Friday sale. So, while I normally debate about my purchases for a long time, this time I know I didn’t have that luxury.

So, after a quick review, I took the plunge and hit “purchase” on a pair of sunny yellow Kloud Slides. I figured, with the money-back guarantee and free shipping, there really was no reason not to just try them!
After reading all the amazing reviews on their Trustpilot, I had high expectations for how quickly my package would get delivered. Many people reported getting their packages only the next day after ordering! So, when mine came 4 days after I placed my order, I felt like it had been ages!
I definitely think this has to do with the increase in parcels during the holiday season, which means this problem will only get worse for all online retailers! For that reason, I highly recommend getting started on your Christmas shopping early this year.

Before I opened the package, I was pretty shocked at how lightweight it was (I also ordered some other things from kuddly to review, and they were significantly heavier). I knew they were supposed to be ultra-light materials but it felt like the box was nearly empty!
When I opened it, my first thought was: the colour is so cute! Then I took the cushioned slides out of their packaging and instantly understood why people were so obsessed.

Not to mention, they’re just really, really cute. I couldn’t wait to throw them on with a cute pair of trousers, or a pair of clean Nike socks and my trackies.
The kuddly website says that the material they use to make their Kloud Slides is athlete grade. Once I started wearing them on the daily, I could totally tell what they meant.
These things are next-level comfy. They feel like pillows on your feet. Once I put them on, they instantly became my go-to shoes!
I got a tonne of compliments at the grocery store and the beach. A girl at the gym even asked me where I got them from.
My sister loved them, too. She’s still in high school and doesn’t have an income to buy her own, so I bought her a pair for Christmas in her favourite pink colour!

I honestly think these Kloud Slides are the perfect gift for any Zoomer or Millennial on your list! They’re so cute, comfy, and versatile.
